TC1 alloy Titanium sheet plates, strips, bars, pipes, forgings, profiles and wires,Titanium Plate Manufacturer,Titanium plate production,5mm titanium plate ,Application of titanium plate...
TC1 alloy is a low strength, high plasticity near alpha titanium alloy containing 2% alpha stabilizer AI and 1.5% beta stabilizer Mn. TC1 Titanium sheet coil has good process plasticity, weldability and thermal stability, and has been widely used in the aviation and aerospace industries. The alloy's long-term working temperature can reach 350 ℃.
The main semi-finished products of TC1 alloy Titanium plates, strips, bars, pipes, forgings, profiles and wires. The alloy is used in the annealed state and cannot be strengthened by solution aging treatment. This alloy is best suited for sheet stamping and welding parts
CHALCO is one of biggest Titanium Plate Manufacturer in China,TC1 TC1 Titanium sheet Heat Treatment Guidelines
1) Annealing
580-750℃, 0.5-2h, air cooling; bars and forgings: 700-850℃, 1-2h, air cooling.
2) Vacuum annealing
600-700 ℃, 0.5-2h, the furnace is cooled to below 200 ℃ to allow air cooling. The absolute pressure in the furnace should be no more than 0.09Pa
3) Stress relief annealing
Removal of internal stress formed during stamping, welding and machining of parts Annealing: 520-560℃, 0.5-2h, air cooling. Stress relief annealing can be carried out in an air furnace or a vacuum furnace.
5mm TC1 Titanium sheet coil Melting and casting process
The ingot should be melted in two vacuum consumable electrode arc furnaces. The alloying element Mn participates in the form of an Al-Mn central alloy. The primary smelting is carried out in a vacuum, and the secondary smelting is carried out in an argon atmosphere.
Application overview and special requirements
TC1 titanium alloy was developed and produced in China in the early 1960s, and is now widely used in the manufacture of various sheet metal stamping parts and skins in aircraft structures and aero-engines.
Titanium plate production formability:
- General parts are formed in a cold state. When forming more complex parts, center annealing should be used, and the annealing temperature is 650-700 °C. Complex parts are formed in a hot state, and the heating temperature is 550-700 ° C. Resistance heating or oxygen-acetylene torch heating can be selected.
5mm TC1 Titanium sheet coil applications recommend the use of TC1 titanium alloys on various types of aircraft and engines
